- Founder of Virtual Outdoor Adventures. Steve Chapman started Virtual Outdoor Adventures three years ago, working on a vision that outdoor guidebooks should be way more than just a plane old book. And there was born the concept of the digital guidebook that incorporates everything that an outdoor adventurer would want – paper & electronic maps, detailed direction sensitive route descriptions, extensive photographic content and GPS support to name just a few. Working with his business partner Steve Graham, Virtual Outdoor Adventures is now at the point where it has five BC based products on sale in various locations, including Chapters, Mountain Equipment Coop and other bookstores and outdoor stores.
